MLB Note - Atlanta Braves McCarthy, Brandon
Dec 17, 2017 - 8:17 AM The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired OF Matt Kemp from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for four players and cash considerations, according to a release from the Dodgers. Heading east to Atlanta are 1B Adrian Gonzalez, LHP Scott Kazmir, RHP Brandon McCarthy and IF Charlie Culberson. MLB.com reported the Braves have already designated Gonzalez for assignment. McCarthy, 34, signed a four-year deal with the Dodgers in December 2014 and in his three seasons with Los Angeles, went 11-7 with a 4.51 ERA in 29 starts. The right-hander missed most of 2015 and 2016 after undergoing Tommy John surgery in April 2015.No one has shouted yet.
