Padres sign RHP Lyles to one-year contract
Dec 18, 2017 - 3:06 PM The San Diego Padres signed right-hander Jordan Lyles to a one-year contract with a club option for 2019, the team announced.Financial terms of the deal were not divulged by the Padres on Sunday, but FanRag Sports reported that Lyles will earn $750,000 in 2018.
Lyles joined San Diego in August after being released by the Colorado Rockies. The 27-year-old posted a 1-5 mark with a 7.75 ERA in 38 games.
Lyles owns a 28-48 record with a 5.43 ERA in seven seasons with the Houston Astros, Rockies and Padres.
