Top MLB Parlay for Wednesday, April 27 (2022)

Apr 27, 2022 - 1:49 PM

Yesterday, the Dodgers went up 3-0 and ended up losing to the Arizona Diamondbacks, 5-3. The Dodgers’ loss ended up losing yesterday’s parlay. That was a bummer. But it’ll only motivate us a little more today. Let’s win a parlay today, for April 27.

CTAs

Tampa Bay Rays (-135)
The Seattle Mariners will pitch Marco Gonzales, who is a left-handed pitcher. In two of three starts this season, Gonzales has allowed six runs without pitching into the fifth inning.

He’s also been terrible against righties this season, allowing a .403 wOBA and ISO of .356 in 49 plate appearances. The Rays will have seven righties in the lineup and some big bats like Randy Arozarena and Wander Franco. Yandy Diaz has also been excellent against left-handed pitching and will be slotted into the lineup.

With the way the Rays have pitched this season, I think the Tampa Bay offense will do enough to get the win at home.

Bet: Rays (-135 at DraftKings)

Atlanta Braves (-210)

On paper, this is pretty easy. Charlie Morton will take the mound for the Braves, while Mark Leiter Jr. will man the mound for the Cubs tonight. Which pitcher would you rather have?

Morton hasn’t pitched all that well this season and has struggled a lot against lefties. However, the Cubs will have just four lefties in the lineup and no lefty that has done much damage outside of Ian Happ.

Meanwhile, Mark Leiter Jr. has struggled against both sides of the plate and will go up against a crazy stack of players in the Braves order. The Braves lineup has an ISO of .214 with a wOBA of .322 against righties to start the season. There’s a lot of potential for this Braves lineup, but not much for the Cubs tonight.

Bet: Braves (-210 at DraftKings)

Philadelphia Phillies (-220)
The Phillies will send out Ranger Suarez, who has been pretty consistent dating back to last season. Suarez has a 3.85 xFIP with 24.2% strikeouts dating back to last year. He gets a whole lot of grounders and limits line drives.

Meanwhile, the Rockies will pitch Ryan Feltner for the first time this season. Last year, in two opportunities, Feltner had an 11.37 ERA with six strikeouts and a WHIP of 2.21.

The Phillies lineup has so much potential, and it’s only a matter of time until the Phillies are consistent on the offensive end. Facing Feltner could help the Phillies continue a solid stretch of hitting now.

Bet: Phillies (-220 at DraftKings)

Parlay: (+273 at DraftKings)
