Top MLB Parlay Odds Picks for Wednesday, May 25 (2022)

May 25, 2022 - 1:17 PM

It wasn’t the biggest payout yesterday, but we hit our parlay at +252 odds. That will help our bankroll moving forward this week. Let’s see if we can win two parlays in a row today.

Here are my three favorite plays, parlayed into one for May 25 in the MLB.

(Odds courtesy DraftKings)

CTA MLB Bet MGM

Detroit Tigers vs. Minnesota Twins

The Detroit Tigers have been miserable offensively this season. The Tigers have a .089 ISO and wOBA of .243 against righties in the last 30 days with 27.5% of strikeouts and just 5.7% of walks. That’s just not going to cut it, especially on the road against Dylan Bundy.

Meanwhile, Rony Garcia will take the hill for the Tigers. He’s added a ton of strikeouts lately, but he’s got a small sample size and will have to go up against a Twins offense that can get on base. Minnesota has a wOBA of .301 in the last 30 days and has six players hitting line drives over 20% of the time against righties.

Back the Twins at home.

Bet: Twins (-190 via DraftKings)

Phillies vs. Braves

Charlie Morton has been so much better in May for the Braves. He has a 3.27 ERA in May and has turned the corner in that regard. Meanwhile, the Braves and their offense have also turned the corner, especially against lefties.

Tonight, the Braves will face Ranger Suarez, a lefty who has struggled against righties this season. In the last 30 days, Suarez has been allowing righties to hit a .350 wOBA and ISO of .198. The Braves, on the other hand, have a projected lineup with an ISO of .259 and wOBA of .337 in the last 30 days against lefties.

The Braves might strike out a lot but walk 13.7% of the time while hitting just over 40% of ground balls against lefties.

Meanwhile, the Phillies only have an ISO of .156 with a wOBA of .296 against righties in the last 30 days. The Braves have the clear advantage in pitching and hitting in this one.

Bet: Braves (-170 via DraftKings)

Milwaukee Brewers vs. San Diego Padres

The Padres won the first matchup in extras, and the Brewers won the second game of the series. Now we’ll get a rubber match between the two teams.

Yu Darvish will take the mound for the Padres with just 1.9% of walks in the last 30 days. Meanwhile, Aaron Ashby will take the mound for the Brewers with 13% of walks in the previous 30 days.

Darvish has command, while Ashby doesn’t. Plus, the Padres have a .345 wOBA against lefties in the last 30 days, along with just 17.3% of strikeouts. The Padres will get on base against Ashby, and just one or two clutch hits should be the difference.

Bet: Padres (-135 via DraftKings)

Parlay: (+321 via DraftKings)
