Top MLB Parlay Odds Picks for Thursday, May 26 (2022)

May 26, 2022 - 1:38 PM

We didn’t come close to hitting our parlay yesterday but already made a profit with Tuesday’s picks. Let’s look to add another parlay cash before the weekend gets here.

Here are my three favorite plays, parlayed into one for May 26 in the MLB.

CTA MLB Bet MGM

Cleveland Guardians vs. Detroit Tigers

If you’re ever going to back the Tigers, you’ve got to do it when Tarik Skubal is on the mound. Skubal has had a 2.67 xFIP in the last 30 days with 30.4% strikeouts and 6.3% walks. He’s been lights out and will take on a Guardians lineup with a .081 ISO and wOBA of .213 against lefties in the last 30 days.

It looks like the Guardians will get blanked by Skubal today. Meanwhile, the Tigers have an ISO of .141 and wOBA of .273 against lefties. Today, they’ll go up against Konnor Pilkington, who has walked 16.7% of batters in a tiny sample size.

I’ll take my chance with the Tigers, who are much better at hitting lefties.

Bet: Tigers (-140 via DraftKings)

Boston Red Sox vs. Chicago White Sox

The Red Sox slumped a bit last night against the White Sox. But they’ll get to take on Dallas Keuchel tonight. Keuchel has a 6.79 xFIP with just 9.8% of strikeouts and 15.2% of walks. Boston will also have seven righties in the lineup and plenty of righties with power against lefties.

Meanwhile, Michael Wacha will take the hill for the Red Sox. While he hasn’t been superb either, he still has a BABIP of .217 and is currently limiting line drives while getting a solid amount of ground balls.

The White Sox have a .114 ISO and wOBA of .276 against righties in the last 30 days with just 5.4% of walks. Wacha matches up better than Keuchel does tonight, and we’re getting a pick-em type of game. The Red Sox are currently the better team and have more advantages here.

Bet: Red Sox (-110 via DraftKings)

Kansas City Royals vs. Minnesota Twins

It will be Daniel Lynch of the Royals going up against Devin Smeltzer of the Twins. These two faced each other just last week, and Lynch allowed four runs in 3.2 innings while Smeltzer escaped damage, allowing just one run. However, the game finished 6-4, and there were 10 runs scored in that game.

Both of these two pitchers are subpar lefties going up against heavy right-handed lineups that can do some serious damage when hot. I’d expect both teams to get hot, knowing tendencies and by getting a chance to watch some film.

Let’s grab the over 8 in this game. This number is a bit low for two teams sending out lefties with high xFIPs and low strikeout numbers.

Bet: Over 8 (-110 via DraftKings)

Parlay: (+524 via DraftKings)
