Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!

There’s probably nothing better than making a little profit on Father’s Day. No gift can beat that!

So let’s find some winners for today’s MLB slate.

CTA MLB Bet MGM

Miami Marlins vs. New York Mets
The Miami Marlins have lost two straight to the New York Mets, on the road. But today, the Marlins should at least have a chance with Sandy Alcantara on the mound.

Alcantara is in the National League Cy Young conversation this season. He’s been very good all year and has a 3.39 xFIP in the last 30 days.

In those 30 days, Alcantara is also striking out 26.7% of batters while walking them at a 4.7% clip.

The Mets have three power bats in the middle of the lineup between Francisco Lindor, Pete Alonso, and Jeff McNeil, but other than that, the lineup has been average. Alcantara could have a big day.

On the other hand, Chris Bassitt clearly feels more comfortable at home. He’s coming off an eight-inning performance against the Brewers where he allowed no runs. He’s striking out 27.1% of batters in the last 30 days and earning 45.3% of grounders in that same time frame.

The Marlins lineup is hitting 50.6% of grounders against righties in the last 30 days. Therefore, I’ll take the under 7.

Bet: Under 7 (-120 at DraftKings

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Cincinnati Reds
It’s probably time for Mike Minor to hang it up. Minor has had a 5.35 xFIP in the last 30 days with 19.4% of strikeouts. He’s also allowing 22.9% of line drives and earning just 35.4% of ground balls in that same time frame.

The left-hander has allowed a wOBA of .402 and ISO of .368 to righties in his last 43 plate appearances against them and has also given up a .378 wOBA to lefties along with an ISO of .318 in his last 24 plate appearances against them.

The Brewers have five batters in the projected lineup with elevated ISO numbers in the last 30 days against lefties and should be able to put the ball in play and create runs throughout the game.

On the other hand, Adrian Houser will get the call. He hasn’t been that much better but will take on a Reds lineup that has a .122 ISO and wOBA of .318. You can trust the Brewers late in the game against a Reds bullpen that has been horrendous too.

Bet: Brewers (-155 at DraftKings)

Kansas City Royals vs. Oakland Athletics
If you’re looking for a later game to bet on, this is the one. The Royals will send out Brady Singer, who has finally turned the corner.

Singer has a 4.16 xFIP in the last 30 days with 21.6% of strikeouts. He’ll take on an Athletics lineup that rarely walks. That same lineup has just two players with a wOBA of higher than .322 in the last 30 days against righties.

Meanwhile, Jared Koenig will take the mound for the Athletics. The rookie left-hander has a 6.67 xFIP in the last 30 days with the Athletics and has struggled in basically every category. The Royals have a .202 ISO with a wOBA of .326 with their projected lineup against lefties and four players that have elevated numbers against lefties including Bobby Witt Jr., Salvador Perez, M.J. Melendez, and Michael A. Taylor.

The Royals will have this game in the bag.

Bet: Royals (-150 at DraftKings)
