MLB Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks for Tuesday, June 21 (2022)

Jun 21, 2022 - 12:43 PM

With a full slate of games on the horizon tonight, we’ve put together three same-game parlays that make sense.

The goal is always to hit at least one of three. If you get one of three, you’ll profit for the day. If you win multiple bets in the same day, you’re living well.

Here are my three same-game parlays for the MLB slate on June 21.

CTA MLB Bet MGM

Chicago Cubs vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

  • Leg 1: Roansy Contreras Over 4.5 K’s (-156)
  • Leg 2: Bryan Reynolds 2+ Total Bases (-110)
  • Leg 3: Jack Suwinski 2+ Total Bases (+125)

The Pirates are really starting to shape up this season.

Pittsburgh will send out Roansy Contreras against the Cubs. He’s the one guy that the Pirates probably feel the most comfortable with on the mound. He’s earning 23.1% of strikeouts in the last 30 days and will take on a Cubs lineup that has six batters striking out 20% of the time or greater in the last 30 days against righties.

Meanwhile, Matt Swarmer will take the hill for the Cubs. He has a 5.59 xFIP in the last 30 days and has been getting rocked by lefties and righties. Bryan Reynolds has a .313 ISO with a wOBA of .374 against righties in the last 30 days while Jack Suwinski has a .319 ISO with a wOBA of .369 against righties in the last 30 days.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Minnesota Twins

  • Leg 1: Luis Arraez 2+ Hits (+140)
  • Leg 2: Gary Sanchez 1+ Hit (-190)
  • Leg 3: Trevor Larnach 1+ Hit (-170)

Aaron Civale is back from the injured list and will be making his first start in quite some time. On the season, Civale has a 5.19 xFIP while allowing 27.5% of line drives and inducing just 32.4% of ground balls.

Righties have a .431 wOBA and ISO of .268 while lefties have a .175 ISO against Civale this season.

Although Arraez is a left-handed hitter, he’s one of the purest hitters in baseball. He has a .429 wOBA against righties on the season and minimizes strikeouts at a high rate.

Meanwhile, Gary Sanchez has a .218 ISO against righties and rarely walks while Trevor Larnach has a .305 ISO and wOBA of .331 against righties. Let’s take a shot at this.

San Francisco Giants vs. Atlanta Braves

  • Leg 1: Matt Olson 2+ Total Bases (+110)
  • Leg 2: Ronald Acuna 2+ Total Bases (-135)
  • Leg 3: Michael Harris 1+ Hit (-195)

Anthony DeSclafani will head back out onto the mound for tonight’s game for the first time since landing on the injured list. DeSclafani was struggling before he was injured, allowing a 4.60 xFIP with a high wOBA to both sides of the plate. Lefties have a .296 ISO against DeSclafani through 30 plate appearances on the season.

Therefore, Matt Olson, a left-handed hitter, is a good bet to hit an extra-base hit as he has an ISO of .227 with a wOBA of .357 in the last 30 days against righties.

Ronald Acuna isn’t getting amazing results right now against righties but he’s been limiting ground balls while hitting a high amount of line drives in the last 30 days against righties. He could break out here and should get at least four opportunities if not five.

Lastly, Michael Harris is the only other lefty in the lineup for the Braves. He has a .218 ISO and wOBA of .352 against righties in the last 30 days. He’ll just need one hit to get his leg complete.
