Top MLB Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks for Tuesday

Washington Nationals vs. Philadelphia Phillies

  • Rhys Hoskins 2+ Total Bases (-120)
  • Kyle Schwarber 2+ Total Bases (-140)
  • Darick Hall 2+ Total Bases (+100)

The Nationals will send out Paolo Espino for tonight’s game. Espino has a 5.11 xFIP in the last 30 days while allowing 46.6% of hard-hit balls when a ball is hit into play.

That’s why we’ll take the three heavy hitters in the Phillies lineup and take them each to get two total bases in tonight’s game.

Kyle Schwarber has a .338 ISO and wOBA of .404 against righties in the last 30 days. Meanwhile, Rhys Hoskins has a .368 ISO and wOBA of .438 in the same time frame.

Lastly, Darick Hall has burst onto the scene for the Phillies and has hit an ISO of .500 with a wOBA of .370 in his first 18 plate appearances against righties.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Detroit Tigers

  • Jose Ramirez 2+ Total Bases (+105)
  • Josh Naylor 2+ Total Bases (-120)
  • Andres Gimenez 1+ Hit (-250)

The Tigers will be pitching Drew Hitchinson, who has a 7.01 xFIP in the last 30 days. He doesn’t have a huge sample size in those 30 days, but the sample size includes his last 38 batters faced, and that’s large enough to dictate that he’s not pitching well.

Hutchinson has struck out just 5.3% of plate appearances and has walked 10.5% of plate appearances through the last 30 days.

He’ll take on a formidable Guardians lineup against righties, and the middle of the order is stacked with power potential. Therefore, I’m grabbing Jose Ramirez, Josh Naylor, and Andres Giminez to do damage in tonight’s game.

Ramirez has a .297 ISO and wOBA of .397 in the last 30 days, with just 8.1% plate appearances resulting in strikeouts against righties. Meanwhile, Naylor has just 7.9% of plate appearances resulting in strikeouts with a .310 ISO and wOBA of .379 against righties in the last 30 days.

Lastly, Andres Gimenez has struck out just 12.9% of plate appearances and has a .233 ISO and wOBA of .440. Tonight should be a solid day for the Guardians’ lineup.

Chicago Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds

  • Ian Happ 2+ Total Bases (+100)
  • Christopher Morel 1+ Hit (-150)
  • Nico Hoerner 2+ Hit (+230)

The Cubs are another team I’m high on today. Chicago will take on Jason Alexander of the Milwaukee Brewers. He has a 5.73 xFIP with just 10.9% of plate appearances resulting in strikeouts.

The Cubs have a lot of power in their lineup and plenty of guys who are consistently hitting line drives against righties.

Ian Happ has a .202 ISO and wOBA of .383 in the last 30 days against righties while also hitting 29.9% of line drives when he hits a ball in play.

Meanwhile, Nico Hoerner has a .392 wOBA with just 8.4% of plate appearances resulting in strikeouts. Like Happ, he has been hitting many line drives in the last 30 days against righties.

Lastly, Christopher Morel might be batting last in the lineup tonight, but he has a .247 ISO and wOBA of .372 against righties, with 24.5% of line drives hit when he hits a ball into play against righties in the last 30 days.
