Philadelphia Phillies vs. Cincinnati Reds

• J.T. Realmuto 2+ Total Bases (-110)
• Rhys Hoskins 2+ Total Bases (-110)
• Darick Hall 2+ Total Bases (-110)

The Reds are sending out T.J. Zeuch for tonight’s game. The right-hander has had a 5.69 xFIP in the last 30 days. He’s also struck out just 19% of batters faced in that time frame.

But the biggest stat that stands out is his line-drive rate. Zeuch is allowing 30.8% of line drives when balls are put into play. Nearly one of every three balls that are put into play are line drives.

Meanwhile, on the Phillies side, we’ve got three hitters that have consistently hit righties well recently. Rhys Hoskins has a .239 ISO with a wOBA of .344 against righties in his last 76 plate appearances against them. J.T. Realmuto has a .310 ISO with a wOBA of .375 against righties in his last 63 plate appearances. Lastly, Darick Hall has a .310 ISO with a .403 wOBA against righties in the last 30 days.

Colorado Rockies vs. St. Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals are facing a lefty in Kyle Freeland tonight. The projected lineup for the Cardinals is currently hitting a .295 ISO with a wOBA of .415 against lefties in the last 30 days. You can basically pick your players between Tyler O’Neill, Paul Goldschmidt, Nolan Arenado, Albert Pujols, and Paul DeJong.

Anyway, Freeland has a 5.05 xFIP in the last month on the mound and has only struck out 20.8% of batters faced. He’s also giving up 50% of hard contact in that time frame and has allowed a wOBA of .348 to righties in his last 80 plate appearances.

Goldschmidt has a .500 ISO with a wOBA of .559 against lefties in the last 30 days while Arenado has a .611 ISO with a wOBA of .524 in his last 30 days against lefties.

Lastly, it looks like Pujols is really starting to figure it out at the plate. Against lefties, he’s hitting a .524 ISO with a wOBA of .611 in his last 24 plate appearances against them.

So let’s back St. Louis against the lefty in this one.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants

• Merrill Kelly Over 4.5 Ks  (-128)

• Emmanuel Rivera 2+ Total Bases (+115)

The Arizona Diamondbacks have an edge in tonight’s game against the Giants. Merrill Kelly will take the hill for Arizona and he’s been really good lately. In the last 30 days, Kelly has had an xFIP of 3.53. He’s also earned 25.2% of strikeouts in that time frame while limiting walks to under 5%.

He’s taking on a Giants lineup that has six batters striking out 20.8% of the time or more in the last 30 days against righties. Kelly should be able to go deep in tonight’s game and will also have plenty of opportunities to earn his strikeouts against this lineup.

On the other hand, Jakob Junis will get the call for the Giants. He has a 5.03 xFIP in the last 30 days and struggles to earn ground balls. Instead, he’s allowing line drives 29.8% of the time when balls are batted into play. Arizona doesn’t have the best lineup in baseball, but at the top of the order, Daulton Varsho and Emmanuel Rivera have done damage against righties.

Varsho is hitting a .273 ISO with a wOBA of .390 against righties in the last 30 days while Rivera is hitting a .417 ISO with a wOBA of .404.

I’ll take my chances with Arizona tonight.
