SB Nation Reacts: Pirates offseason so far
Nov 30, 2022 - 10:04 PMWelcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Pittsburgh Pirates fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate.
The Pirates came into the offseason with quite a few holes to fill, needless to say for a team with their record ovet the last few years. Perhaps the most dire was at first base. Buccos GM Ben Cherington has since made a series of moves to firm up the position — including Ji-man Choi and Carlos Santana — along with a few others to help fill in some other gaps on the roster.
What we want to know is, considering the financial limitations he is working with and cognizant that there are likely at least a few more moves yet to come, what grade would you give Cherington’s work so far this offseason?
