Cavs down Pistons to begin preseason

Samardo Samuels and Antawn Jamison chipped in 15 and 13 points, respectively, for Cleveland, which created 21 turnovers and had 21 giveaways in a sloppy game.

Greg Monroe totaled 12 points and 13 rebounds, Austin Daye netted 18 points and Ben Gordon added 17 for the Pistons.
