Bucks beat Hawks by 30

Dec 27, 2014 - 3:38 AM Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jared Dudley was perfect off the bench, making all 10 of his shots and finishing with 24 points in leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 107-77 rout of the Atlanta Hawks Friday night in the first of a home-and-home set.

Dudley, who drained four 3-pointers, was one of six Milwaukee players to reach double figures in scoring.

"I can't say it was a perfect game, because as a coach you always want more, but it was as close to a no-hitter as you can get," Bucks coach Jason Kidd said of Dudley.

Brandon Knight had 16 points and Zaza Pachulia added 14 with eight rebounds for the Bucks, who snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Hawks and matched last season's victory total of 15 in their 30th game.

Johnny O'Bryant and Jerryd Bayless each scored 12 points and O.J. Mayo supplied 11 as Milwaukee ended a five-game slide at Atlanta. The Bucks posted their first win at Philips Arena since Nov. 10, 2010.

Paul Millsap recorded a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds for Atlanta, which had a five-game winning streak end.

"I think you gotta give Milwaukee a lot of credit," Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said. "We have to do things better defensively, to make it harder for them on offense. Overall, (there are) a lot of areas for improvement."

The Hawks, who were seeking a ninth straight home victory, committed 23 turnovers that resulted in 30 points for Milwaukee.

Atlanta led 15-10 when Kyle Korver hit a 3-pointer, but Bayless buried a three off a pass from Dudley to put Milwaukee up 24-22 at the end of the first quarter.

Dudley scored nine points and registered three steals in a strong second quarter by the Bucks, who were up 58-42 at halftime.

Knight knocked down a deep 3-pointer during a 17-4 run in the third quarter that left Milwaukee with a 79-52 advantage.
