Turner's triple-double fuels Celtics over Nets

Avery Bradley led the Celtics with 20 points, while Tyler Zeller and Kelly Olynyk each scored 18 points in the win.
Boston, which snapped its three-game losing streak, moved into eighth place in the East by a half-game over Charlotte. The Celtics are one game clear of Indiana and 1 1/2 games up on the Nets, who had their two-game winning streak halted, in the crowded chase for the final playoff spot.
"(Turner) knows how to play and every night he fills the boxscore," Boston coach Brad Stevens said.
Brook Lopez poured in 31 points for Brooklyn, and Deron Williams filled the stat sheet to the tune of 10 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds.
"We don't match up with them very well," said Nets coach Lionel Hollins. "We scrambled and battled... Ultimately, we couldn't stop them and we couldn't score."
Marcus Smart's jumper tied the game at 18-18 with over four minutes left in the first, then Brooklyn ended the stanza on a 10-5 run for a five-point lead after 12 minutes.
The Celtics scored the initial seven points of the second, as Turner made a layup that gave the visitors a 30-28 lead. Olynyk received a friendly roll on his 3-pointer at the buzzer to help Boston to a 54-49 edge at halftime.
"Well that shot bouncing in at halftime was huge for (Olynyk)," Stevens added. "For a guy who is struggling, just to see it go through the net is huge."
The Celtics began to distance themselves from Brooklyn a few minutes into the third. Zeller's jumper with 8 1/2 minutes to play in the frame jump-started a 9-0 spurt that stretched their lead to 71-57.
The Nets managed to work back into the contest, cutting the margin to five late in the third, but Olynyk fired in another trey following a three-point play from Jae Crowder. Cory Jefferson knocked down a jumper in the closing seconds to trim Brooklyn's deficit to 83-74 entering the fourth.
Boston led by double digits for most of the fourth and was never threatened down the stretch.
Game Notes
