Joe Johnson netted 15 points and Jarrett Jack added 12 points and eight assists for the Nets, who snapped a five-game losing streak.

Nerlens Noel posted 17 points and seven boards and Isaiah Cannon supplied 13 points for Philadelphia, which shot just 37.2 percent from the floor.

"They're a prideful team, a veteran team, a well-coached team and we just weren't able to find a way to close the game out," Sixers coach Brett Brown said.

The Sixers trailed 79-68 at the 8:57 mark of the fourth before storming back with a 17-8 run. Noel scored the final seven points of the surge, which was capped when he threw down an alley-oop to trim the gap to 87-85 with 3:36 left.

Brooklyn, though, netted the next six points to regain control

Deron Williams nailed a pull-up jumper, Brook Lopez sunk a pair of free throws and Young flipped in a hook shot to stake the Nets to a 93-85 cushion with 1:19 remaining.
