Mar 12, 2015 - 4:05 AM Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Aaron Brooks scored a season-high 31 points, Pau Gasol added 27 points and 16 rebounds and the Chicago Bulls defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 104-95 in overtime Wednesday night.

Brooks knocked down a game-tying 3-pointer with 33.2 seconds remaining in regulation and the Bulls pulled away in the extra session.

Nikola Mirotic posted 16 points, 12 boards and five assists for the Bulls, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

"They're a tough matchup," said Gasol. "We just got done playing four games in five nights ... but we got it done."

Ish Smith tallied a career-high 23 points with six assists, Isaiah Canaan netted 20 and Nerlens Noel and Thomas Robinson pulled down 15 rebounds apiece for Philadelphia, which has dropped 10 of its last 12 games.

"I think the effort was there," said Noel. "Starting with myself, we have to hit free throws."

The Sixers erased a 14-point fourth quarter deficit and Smith sunk a pair of foul shots for a 90-89 edge with 56.8 ticks left in regulation. Tony Snell missed a layup at the other end and Jerami Grant hit two foul shots with 43 seconds on the clock for a three-point cushion.

Brooks then knocked down a contested, leaning right corner triple to tie the game.

Luc Mbah a Moute missed a jumper in the waning moments of the period.

Brooks drove in for a layup before a pair of Gasol baskets quickly staked the Bulls to a six-point advantage in overtime and they cruised to the victory from there.

Earlier, the game was knotted 22-22 following a quarter of play and 51-51 at the break.

Chicago scored the first nine points out of the locker room and was up 72-63 heading into the fourth.

Hollis Thompson nailed a trey and drove in for a layup to finish off a 15-0 burst for an 80-79 Sixers margin midway through the fourth.
