Curry leads Warriors past Jazz

Mar 22, 2015 - 6:17 AM Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Stephen Curry had 24 points and the Golden State Warriors defeated the Utah Jazz 106-91 on Saturday night.

Draymond Green posted 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds, while Leandro Barbosa added 19 points off the bench for the Warriors, who have won five straight and 10 of their last 11 games.

"We're deep and our offense is catered to getting guys touches," Curry said of the Warriors' success without Klay Thompson.

Derrick Favors supplied 21 points and 11 boards for Utah, which has dropped two of its last three on the heels of a six-game winning streak.

"That's a good team, they made some big shots," Utah guard Trey Burke said.

Trevor Booker's running bank shot pulled the Jazz within 69-63 late in the third quarter, but Golden State scored eight of the next nine points to build a healthy 13-point cushion.

Green sunk four free throws to cap the spring and stake Golden State to a 77-64 margin.

The Warriors led 85-73 heading into the fourth, where Utah never got within less than six.

Earlier, Green split a pair of free throws to finish off a 12-4 flurry to give the Warriors a 19-11 advantage late in the first.

Golden State was up 19-15 following the opening frame and 49-40 at the break.
