Dragic, Suns down Pacers

Dec 3, 2014 - 6:19 AM Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Goran Dragic had 34 points, five rebounds and four steals as the Phoenix Suns defeated the Indiana Pacers 116-99 on Tuesday night.

Eric Bledsoe posted 27 points, seven assists and four swipes, Markieff Morris provided 15 points and six boards and Gerald Green netted 15 points off the bench for the Suns, who had dropped three of their last four games coming in.

"They got into a flow tonight, they were aggressive," Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said. "This is how we think they can play."

Roy Hibbert tallied 15 points and 10 rebounds for Indiana, which has lost four of its last six contests.

A Donald Sloan layup pulled the Pacers within 94-88 with 7:24 remaining before the Suns answered with a 12-0 run to put the game away.

Dragic nailed a left wing 3-pointer and then drove the left baseline before finding Morris for a layup to cap the surge and give the Suns a healthy 106-88 advantage with 4:18 left.

"Their starters outplayed our starters in the first half and the second half," Pacers head coach Frank Vogel said.

Earlier, the Pacers led 28-26 after a quarter of play and 56-54 heading into the break, but Phoenix seized control in the third.

Green knocked down a triple and Dragic sunk a pair of foul shots to finish off a 9-0 burst to stake it to a 77-65 cushion late in the third.

Indiana netted the final six points of the frame to whittle the gap to 83-79 heading into the fourth.

Phoenix scored 24 points off 19 turnovers. Thirteen of the 19 giveaways forced were steals ... The Suns shot 50 percent (43-of-86) from the floor and 12- of-25 from beyond the arc.
