Pistons host Bucks in Central Division clash

Nov 26, 2010 - 3:44 PM (Sports Network) - A pair of Central Division also-rans get together this evening in the Motor City, as the Detroit Pistons welcome the Milwaukee Bucks to The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Detroit is last in the division at 5-10 and has dropped two games in a row, including Wednesday's 105-84 loss at Memphis in which Rodney Stuckey led the Pistons with 17 points and Richard Hamilton scored 12 in defeat. Hamilton was ejected from game with 51.1 seconds left in third quarter after picking up his second technical foul for arguing with an official.

Charlie Villanueva contributed 11 points and Will Bynum and Ben Gordon both scored 10 in the loss.

"I think if we build chemistry we can be competitive," Gordon said after Detroit's fourth loss in five tries. "If not, we'll be a team that struggles throughout the season. We're still trying to find ourselves."

The Pistons were outscored, 20-9, over the final 5:27 of the third quarter after they cut the lead to 60-59 midway though the stanza. They will also host New York on the residency and are 3-3 at home this season.

Meanwhile, the Bucks are mired in a four-game losing streak and hope to right the ship tonight in the finale of a quick two-game road trip.

Keyon Dooling had 18 points in Wednesday's 83-81 loss at Cleveland, while Brandon Jennings had just three points on 1-of-10 shooting for Milwaukee, which got 14 points from John Salmons and 10 from Corey Maggette.

"It was basically just Mo breaking us down," Bucks coach Scott Skiles said of Cavs guard Mo Williams, who had a game-high 25 points and drilled a fade-away jumper over Jennings at the buzzer. "We were a little bit flat-footed, but we regrouped. Keyon gave us a big lift. We took the lead back. We're not respectful yet for our execution on the offensive end."

The Bucks are 2-5 away from the Bradley Center this season and may not have center Andrew Bogut in tonight's lineup. Bogut is questionable for Friday's game because of back and elbow issues.

Milwaukee and Detroit split four meetings a season ago, but the Pistons have won 11 of the previous 15 matchups between the teams. The Bucks have dropped 11 of 14 contests at The Palace.
