Raptors hit the road to Detroit

Dec 11, 2010 - 4:03 PM (Sports Network) - The Toronto Raptors will try to stop a four-game losing streak tonight, when they open a two-game trek against the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Toronto will also visit Charlotte and is coming off Friday's 123-116 loss at home versus the Denver Nuggets.

Linas Kleiza finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds off the bench for the Raptors. Andrea Bargnani ended with 24 points, while Leandro Barbosa and Sonny Weems scored 22 and 21 points, respectively, in defeat.

"We can't play defense for half a game," Raptors head coach Jay Triano said. "I thought the second half we attempted and that's all I ask of our guys."

The Raptors have lost three in a row away from Canada. Toronto guard Jose Calderon (foot) and forward Peja Stojakovic (knee) are both listed as questionable for tonight.

Meanwhile, Detroit has dropped three in a row and seven of eight games, including Friday's 109-99 setback in Minnesota.

Richard Hamilton had 26 points to pace the Pistons, who have lost eight in a row on the road. Rodney Stuckey tallied 19 points and six assists.

"Kevin Love is the best rebounder in the league right now," Pistons center Greg Monroe said. "I just tried to go out and match his intensity."

Love buried the Pistons with 27 points and 18 rebounds.

Detroit will also host the Hawks, Clippers and Hornets on the homestand.

Toronto won all four meetings with Detroit last season after Detroit took all three of the matchups during the 2008-09 campaign. The Raptors have lost 13 of their last 16 trips to The Palace.
