Sixers entertain Bulls at Wells Fargo Center

Jan 7, 2011 - 4:12 PM (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bulls look to get back on track against the Philadelphia 76ers tonight from Wells Fargo Center.

The Bulls had a five-game winning streak stopped with Wednesday's 96-94 setback in New Jersey, as Sasha Vujacic scored the game-winning basket with 5.3 seconds left in the game.

Bulls All-Star guard Derrick Rose had 21 points and Luol Deng posted 17 points and eight rebounds for the Central Division-leading Bulls, who suffered just their third loss in the last 17 games and fell to 8-8 away from the Windy City this season.

"Right now it hurts," Rose said. "We have to continue to play. We have to get off to good starts again."

Carlos Boozer notched 12 points and nine boards in defeat.

Philadelphia is in the midst of playing five of six games at home and got the stretch started with a 109-97 triumph over the Washington Wizards Wednesday night. Jrue Holiday and Lou Williams both finished with 26 points for the 76ers, who won for the third time in eight tries.

"Needless to say, it is nice to beat Washington," Sixers coach Doug Collins said. "Our guys would not lose that game, and I was very proud of them for that."

Elton Brand added 17 points and Andres Nocioni notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Sixers were coming off a 3-5 road trip and pushed their home record to 9-6 with the victory over the Wizards.

The Sixers will visit Detroit before returning to south Philly to host the Pacers, Bucks and Bobcats. They have been without Andre Iguodala for the last five games due to tendinitis in his right Achilles'. He is out indefinitely.

Philadelphia will try to avenge an embarrassing 121-76 loss in Chicago back on Dec.21 this season, but has lost three straight and five of the past six matchups with the Bulls.
