Magic steal OT win from Sixers, thanks to Redick

Redick's four-point play with 1:43 left in overtime lifted the Orlando Magic over the Philadelphia 76ers, 99-98.Redick ended with 12 points and six rebounds off the bench for the Magic, who have won seven in a row at home. Ryan Anderson made four three-pointers en route to a season-high 20 points.
Dwight Howard tallied 18 points and seven rebounds before fouling out at the end of regulation. Jameer Nelson donated 16 points, seven assists and six boards.
Lou Williams finished with 19 points and seven rebounds in a reserve role for the Sixers, who saw a brief two-game winning streak come to an end. Thaddeus Young also came off the bench and ended with 17 points and five boards.
Jrue Holiday chipped in with 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Philadelphia, which has lost four in a row on the road. Andre Iguodala added 15 points, seven boards and six assists.
"Sometimes you're on the winning end of that and sometimes you're on the losing end of that," Williams said. "They made two incredible plays."
Nelson's trey with 3:11 left in overtime gave the Magic a 95-92 lead. But Iguodala's slam and jumper around Jason Richardson's miss gave Philly a one- point edge.
Redick went up for a three at the other end and was fouled by Williams. The shot was good and Redick made the ensuing free throw to give Orlando a 99-96 lead with 1:43 remaining.
Williams missed a three-pointer for the 76ers, but the Magic turned the ball over on a shot clock violation with 57.1 seconds left.
Iguodala missed a 19-footer and Brandon Bass blocked Williams' jumper. But Young's slam cut the gap to 99-98 with 43.4 ticks to go.
After Nelson missed a runner, Philadelphia was left with 22.9 seconds. Iguodala and Evan Turner each missed as time expired.
The Magic started the fourth on a 10-2 run to take the lead. Anderson tallied five points during the surge, which Howard capped with two free throws for a 73-72 edge.
Howard made two foul shots to give Orlando an 82-80 edge with 3:20 to play in regulation. But Howard then missed four straight shots from the charity stripe.
Holiday sparked a 9-2 burst with a baseline jumper. Iguodala's short jumper gave the Sixers an 86-84 margin with 1:04 to go. Howard fouled out on the ensuing possession with an offensive foul. He also got a technical on the play, and Williams made the foul shot to make it 87-84.
Iguodala then made a pair from the line to cap the surge for an 89-84 Sixers lead with 28.6 left.
The score was 90-86 following a Redick layup and a Williams free throw.
It seemed all but over until Richardson drained a three-pointer from the top of the arc. Iguodala was called for a foul on the play, and Richardson made his free throw to make it 90-90 with 17.0 ticks remaining.
"Andre had a great game. I just think he made a mental mistake on Jason," Redick said. "Jason made a great play to have the concentration, to take the hit and knock it in."
Williams and Anderson each missed three-pointers in the final seconds.
The Sixers held a 21-17 edge after 12 minutes of action, and took a 48-44 margin into the locker room.
Philly outscored Orlando, 22-19, in the third to take a 70-63 lead into the fourth.
Game Notes
Philadelphia beat the Magic, 97-89, on December 18 this season at Amway Center, but Orlando is 13-2 in the past 15 matchups in this series. The Sixers snapped a six-game road losing streak with that win last month. They are only 3-11 in the past 14 contests at Orlando...Orlando is 16-5 as the host this season...Philadelphia is 5-17 away from the City of Brotherly Love this season...Orlando went 8-of-24 from three-point range, while the 76ers made 3-of-14 three-pointers...Howard went 10-of-22 from the foul line...Turner had 10 points and eight rebounds.
