Thunder visit Twin Cities to take on Wolves

Jan 26, 2011 - 4:46 PM (Sports Network) - The Oklahoma City Thunder will try to put the brakes on a three-game road losing streak tonight when they pay a visit to the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center.

Oklahoma City has dropped three of four games since winning four in a row and is coming off Monday's 91-89 loss in New Orleans. David West buried the game- winning shot with five-tenths of a second to go for the Hornets.

Kevin Durant finished with 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists, while Jeff Green posted 19 points and seven boards for Oklahoma City.

"They are a good team and they have won nine in a row for a reason," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. " I'm proud of our guys and their effort though."

The Thunder are 12-10 as the visitor in 2010-11.

Minnesota has lost four straight and nine of 10 games, including Monday's 129-125 setback versus the Houston Rockets in the Twin Cities.

Kevin Love posted his 30th straight double-double, finishing with 24 points and 17 boards for Minnesota. Wesley Johnson scored 19 points off the bench before fouling out.

"It was really the second and third quarters. We let them have big quarters. That's were we lost it," Love said.

The Wolves are 8-13 at the Target Center this season.

Oklahoma City has beaten Minnesota twice already this season and has won seven straight and 14 of the past 17 matchups in this series. The Thunder are also unbeaten in their previous four trips to the Twin Cities.
