Mar 4, 2011 - 3:58 PM (Sports Network) - The Boston Celtics take aim at their fourth straight win overall when they welcome the Golden State Warriors to TD Garden tonight.

Boston, the East's top seed, posted its third straight win and sixth in seven tries with Wednesday's 115-103 triumph over a surging Phoenix Suns squad Wednesday in the opener of a two-game homestand. Kevin Garnett had a season- high 28 points and 11 rebounds for the Celtics, who got 16 points, 15 assists and five boards from Rajon Rondo. Three-point king Ray Allen netted 19 points.

"I thought our ball movement, our energy (and) our defense in the first half was phenomenal," said Celtics head coach Doc Rivers.

Paul Pierce finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds. The Atlantic Division- leading Celtics shot 53.7 percent from the field and had a 45-33 advantage in the glass, as they improved to 26-5 in Beantown this season. Boston outscored Phoenix, 52-26, in the paint. Glen Davis and Nenad Krstic posted 14 and 13 points, respectively.

"We needed a win no matter how we got it," Warriors head coach Keith Smart said. "We were able to pull it together [at the end]."

The Warriors will also visit Philadelphia, Cleveland and New Jersey, and are 8-20 away from Oakland this season. Curry has scored 20 or more points in three straight contests, averaging 27.3 ppg in that span.

Boston defeated the Warriors, 115-93, on Feb. 22 at ORACLE Arena thanks to 24 points and 12 rebounds out of Garnett. Pierce added 23 points in that one for the Celtics, who have still lost six of the last 10 meetings in this series.
