Jennings leads Bucks past Washington

Mar 9, 2011 - 4:58 AM Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Brandon Jennings scored 23 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out four assists as Milwaukee snapped a six-game road losing streak with a 95-76 drubbing of Washington.

John Salmons had 22 points for the Bucks, who also broke a two-game losing streak overall. Andrew Bogut, who missed the last three games with a rib injury, chipped in 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists while Carlos Delfino finished with 15 points and seven boards.

"I think everybody came out tonight and contributed to the win," Jennings said. "Our bench played great and Bogut did well for his first game back."

Jordan Crawford came off the bench to lead the Wizards with 22 points and Maurice Evans added 11 points. Nick Young and John Wall each had 10 points as Washington dropped their ninth in 10 games.

Wizards forward Andray Blatche departed with 8:46 left in the first quarter after a hard fall diving for a loose ball. He sprained his right shoulder when he hit the ground and did not return.

"I don't think anybody, including myself, played well at all," Wall said. "They basically got any shot they wanted, whenever they wanted it."

Jennings layup with 27.1 seconds left gave the Bucks a 22-21 lead in a tightly contested opening quarter.

With the game tied at 30, Milwaukee went on a 15-4 run, which was finished by Salmons' layup, to move in front 45-34.

The Bucks added onto their lead in the final 37.9 seconds when they went on a 6-2 burst sparked by a Salmons lay-in and trifecta. Jennings three with time running out made for the 51-36 visitors' halftime lead.

Jennings scored 10 points in the third quarter as the Bucks started to run away with the game. The lead was pushed to 72-50, thanks to a Jennings' trey. Following a Crawford layup, Keyon Dooling buried a three with 11.8 seconds left to give the Bucks a comfortable 75-52 lead heading into the final frame.

Milwaukee cruised in the fourth by not allowing the Wizards to get within 16.
