Surprising Kings visit Phoenix

The Kings improved to 4-1 with a 131-109 blowout of the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday in the second game of a home-and-home series.
DeMarcus Cousins had 30 points and 11 rebounds, Rudy Gay scored 29 points and Carl Landry ended with 18 points off the bench for the Kings, who shot 55.3 percent from the field.
"Playing defense, I believe, helps build chemistry. We trust in one another and it's going over to the other side of the floor," Cousins said.
Sacramento, which is 4-1 for the first time since 2001-02, will also visit Oklahoma City, Dallas and Memphis on this trip.
The last time the Kings started 5-1 was in 1999-00.
Phoenix opened a five-game homestand with Wednesday's 102-91 loss to Memphis.
Eric Bledsoe scored 23 points, Markieff Morris had 20 and Isaiah Thomas finished with 15 off the bench for the Suns.
"We just have to execute," said Bledsoe. "I don't think we did a good job of executing."
The Suns had 21 turnovers converted into 26 Memphis points and fell to 3-2 on the season. Goran Dragic was held to six points in the loss.
Thomas is averaging 18.6 points per game. The last Sun to average at least that amount in his first season with the team was Stephon Marbury, who posted 20.4 ppg back in 2001-02.
Phoenix will also host Golden State, Brooklyn and Charlotte on the homestand and split four meetings with Sacramento last season. The Suns are 14-4 in their last 18 games at home against the Kings.
