The Bulls will play game four of a seven-game road trip so the circus can come to Chicago. So far, Chicago is 1-2 with a victory over the Los Angeles Clippers and back-to-back setbacks against the Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers.
The Bulls have endured quite a few injuries already this season.
Former MVP Derrick Rose missed four straight with a hamstring injury. He's missed a lot of action already this season and is questionable for Monday night.
Pau Gasol, the prize free agent signed in the offseason, is also questionable with a groin injury.
Kirk Hinrich joined the list with bruised ribs suffered in Thursday's loss to the Kings. He is questionable as well.
Taj Gibson is not. He was sent back to Chicago to get his troublesome left ankle looked at after he went down in Portland on Friday night. He left the building on crutches.
The Bulls got clobbered by Portland, 105-87.
Rookie Nikola Mirotic led the Bulls with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Aaron Brooks, who started in place of Rose and Hinrich, managed 12 for a Chicago team that trailed by 25 after three quarters.
The Bulls will face the Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets on this odyssey.
The Jazz have dropped two straight, highlighted by a 106-94 home loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday night.
Gordon Hayward led the Jazz with 31 points, Trey Burke had a season-high 20 and Derrick Favors chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds.
The Pelicans built a 17-point halftime lead, but Hayward spearheaded a charge late in the third, scoring 11 points over the final four minutes of the quarter to trim the deficit to 77-72 entering the fourth.
"We fought back," said Hayward. "I'm proud of the effort we had in the second half."
The Jazz visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, then play four straight in Salt Lake City.
The teams split two meetings last season. Utah's victory on Nov. 25 snapped a six-game losing streak to the Bulls, who are 5-12 in their last 17 as the visitor in this series.
