Bucks pull away from Pistons

Nov 29, 2014 - 6:44 AM Auburn Hills, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Ersan Ilyasova had 22 points and eight rebounds off the bench as the Milwaukee Bucks pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 104-88 win over the Detroit Pistons on Friday night.

Jared Dudley added 16 points off the pine for the Bucks, who didn't see any of their starters reach double figures in scoring. The Bucks held a 69-13 advantage in bench points.

"We got a lot of great looks. Guys were sharing the ball," Bucks coach Jason Kidd said.

Milwaukee has won three straight and six of its last eight games.

Andre Drummond posted 26 points and 20 boards for Detroit, which has lost seven in a row and 10 of its last 11 contests.

"We were fine starters against starters, but once then went to the bench we had no answers," Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said.

The Bucks led 74-69 entering the fourth, but began the frame on a 11-3 run to seize control. Ilyasova netted eight points during the surge. He began it with a 3-pointer and capped it with a layup for an 85-72 advantage with 9:38 left.

Milwaukee led by as many as 19 down the stretch.

D.J. Augustin finished off a 13-0 Detroit spring during the early stages of the opening stanza for a 14-6 Pistons cushion and they were up 29-25 following a quarter of play.

Milwaukee outscored them 28-16 in the second and headed into the break with a 53-45 margin.

Milwaukee was 13-of-29 from beyond the arc and shot 50.6 percent (39-of-77) from the floor ... Kentavious Caldwell-Pope netted 21 points for Detroit ... The Pistons shot 41 percent from the field.
