Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Jeff Teague had 25 points, eight rebounds and seven assists as the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 90-85 on Saturday night.

Al Horford posted 20 points and nine rebounds, while Paul Millsap added 17 points and eight boards for the Hawks, who have won six of their last seven games.

"We didn't shoot it well, but our defense gave us a chance," Atlanta coach Mike Budenholzer said.

Khris Middleton tallied 21 points and Zaza Pachulia provided 11 points and 15 boards for Milwaukee, which has dropped three of its last four games.

"I think the game was all about offensive rebounds, we gave up too many second chance points, and turnovers," said Pachulia.

After Brandon Knight's 3-pointer pulled the Bucks within 82-80 with 3:31 left, the Hawks ripped off six straight points to put the game away. Teague sandwiched four free throws around a Millsap layup for an 88-80 Hawks advantage with 29.2 seconds remaining.

Earlier, DeMarre Carroll and Teague knocked down early triples as the Hawks opened up a 13-3 cushion before leading 21-10 following a quarter of play. Milwaukee, though, outscored Atlanta 27-18 in the second and trailed 39-37 heading into the break.

Teague's layup capped an 11-0 Atlanta run during the early to middle stages of the third and staked it to a 55-43 margin. But a pair of O.J. Mayo foul shots finished off an ensuing 15-5 Milwaukee burst, clawing the Bucks within 60-58 late in the third.

Atlanta led 66-63 going into the final frame.
