Warriors pay a visit to Pacers

Feb 22, 2015 - 3:39 PM (SportsNetwork.com) - The Golden State Warriors will hit the road again for the next six games, starting with Sunday's showdown with the Indiana Pacers.

The Warriors will also visit Washington, Cleveland, Toronto, Boston and Brooklyn on the trip and are 19-7 away from home. They went 3-1 on a recent sojourn and posted a 110-99 home victory over the San Antonio Spurs Friday.

Stephen Curry had 25 points and 11 assists, Klay Thompson scored 20 points and Harrison Barnes added 16 for the Warriors, who have won four in a row and seven of their last eight games. Golden State allowed only three Spurs players to reach double digits and just 13 points in the third quarter.

"We couldn't hit a shot," said Spurs guard Tony Parker. "They got a lot of transition points and that's where we lost the game."

Golden State has the best record in the NBA at 43-9 and is unbeaten in the last three road games. It is 16-2 against the East this season.

The Warriors lead the league with 110.6 ppg and have an NBA-best 48.1 field goal percentage.

Indiana has a tough schedule with Golden State, Oklahoma City and Cleveland on the upcoming docket.

The Pacers are coming off Friday's 106-95 victory at Philadelphia and were led by Rodney Stuckey's 30 points off the bench. C.J. Miles scored 17 points and Luis Scola added 16 for the Pacers, who have won two straight and five of their last six games.

"I think the game really changed when our second unit got in and started picking up the defensive pressure," Pacers coach Frank Vogel said.

Stuckey left the game in the second half with an apparent ankle injury and is listed as questionable Sunday.

Indiana is 11-14 at home and suffered a 117-102 loss at Golden State on Jan. 7. Thompson scored 40 points to lead the Warriors, who have won the last two meetings in this series.
