Raptors, Thunder tangle in OKC

Mar 8, 2015 - 3:00 PM (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Raptors and Oklahoma City Thunder will bump heads Sunday at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

The Raptors opened a three-game road trip with a 103-94 loss to the Charlotte Hornets and have dropped seven of their last eight games.

DeMar DeRozan scored 30 points and Kyle Lowry added 25 in defeat.

"We're a jump-shooting team," said Lowry. "We've got to find a way to get ourselves in the paint a little bit better."

Toronto will close the trip Tuesday in San Antonio.

The Thunder will play four in a row at home versus Toronto, LA Clippers, Minnesota and Chicago.

Oklahoma City has won nine of its last 12 games, but is coming off a 108-105 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.

Russell Westbrook came into the game riding a string of four consecutive triple-doubles, the longest stretch the NBA has seen since Michael Jordan had seven in a row from March 25-April 6, 1989. The All-Star guard recorded a franchise-record third straight 40-point performance with 43 points.

Serge Ibaka added 25 points and nine rebounds for Oklahoma City, which was coming off a hard-fought 123-118 overtime win over the 76ers on Wednesday.

The Thunder have lost two of the last three games to Toronto.
