Davis finished with a pedestrian 15 points as New Orleans rolled to a 111-91 win over Brooklyn on Tuesday.
Quincy Pondexter and Alexis Ajinca netted 17 apiece to lead the Pelicans, while Eric Gordon and Norris Cole each had 16. Cole started in place of Tyreke Evans, who left Monday's win with an ankle injury.
Omer Asik added 12 points and 15 rebounds for the Pelicans, winners in nine of their last 11 games despite a number of key players missing games with injuries.
The Nets not only lost their fourth straight game, but lost a number of contributors to injuries as well. Alan Anderson didn't return after halftime with a bruised tailbone, Markel Brown left in the third quarter after turning his right ankle and Sergey Karasev departed in the fourth with a knee injury.
Jarrett Jack and Brook Lopez scored 15 apiece to lead Brooklyn.
"Every game at this point is a big game," Nets point guard Deron Williams said.
After a quiet start, New Orleans finished the second quarter on a 13-3 run to take a nine-point lead into halftime.
"They kind of got out to a fast start. We just stuck together and ended up coming up with the win," Davis said.
Davis and Asik both scored four points during an 8-0 flurry to open the third, and the Pelicans cruised the rest of the way.
