Mike Conley posted 21 points with nine assists, Zach Randolph netted 17 points and Tony Allen added 10 points with 11 rebounds and six steals for Memphis.
The Grizzlies have won two straight and four of their last five.
"It's playoff time. We're getting into our rhythm of things and just take one game at a time," said Randolph.
Damian Lillard had 27 points to lead the Blazers, while LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 16 points.
Portland, which wrapped its five-game road trip, dropped its season-high fourth straight game.
"I thought we did a very good job defensively," said Portland coach Terry Stotts. "The first quarter I thought was misleading... I liked the way we competed defensively on the heels of last night."
Memphis came out hot to start the game, shooting at a 61.9 percent clip in the opening frame and making all three of its attempts from beyond the arc. Marc Gasol's three-point play staked the Grizzlies to a 35-27 lead entering the second.
Portland gained the lead with an 11-0 run to begin the second quarter. C.J. McCollum canned a 3-pointer to cap the spurt for a 38-35 edge.
The Blazers made just three shots the remaining 6 1/2 minutes of the half, however, and Memphis took a comfortable lead into the locker room. Conley scored the final six points of a a 14-0 run for the Grizzlies. Lillard followed with a layup that brought Portland within 53-44 at halftime.
Green's 3-pointer with over four minutes left in the third stretched the margin to a game-high 18 for Memphis, and it brought a 77-62 lead into the fourth.
Dorell Wright's trey with under nine minutes to go in the game cut Portland's deficit to seven, but that is as close as it would come down the stretch.
