Curry, Thompson lead Warriors past Clippers

David Lee scored 17 points in a rare start and Marreese Speights chipped in 13 off the bench for Golden State, which has won 10 straight games and already locked up home-court advantage through the Western Conference playoffs.
Golden State's defensive ace Draymond Green (shin) did not dress for the game and Blake Griffin took advantage, posting 40 points and 12 rebounds for the Clippers.
Chris Paul had 27 points and nine assists, and DeAndre Jordan pulled down 15 rebounds in defeat.
Andre Iguodala, who didn't make a field goal, got fouled shooting a 3 in front of the Clippers bench with 1:10 to play and sank all three free throws, extending the Warriors lead to 106-102.
Paul cut it to two with a layup at the other end, but Curry and Thompson both stepped up and hit a pair of free throws in the closing seconds.
The Clippers led by seven at halftime and 10 early in the third quarter, but Thompson kept Golden State within striking distance, scoring five during a 7-0 run that made it 58-55. Thompson's triple moments later made it a two-point game, and his 3 at 5:23 tied the game at 67.
Curry then hit from deep to give Golden State its first lead of the game. Austin Rivers answered with a 3, and LA was in front until Speights and Iguodala scored every point during a 9-0 run to open the fourth.
Neither team led by more than six after that.
"Our guys really got their competitive spirit going in the second half," said Warriors coach Steve Kerr. "This is what competitors do. It was a great effort."
Lee scored 10 points on 5-of-7 in the first quarter, but the rest of the Warriors made just three field goals for eight points, and the Clippers led 30-18.
The spread reached 17 in the second before Curry caught fire and led Golden State back. His 3-pointer at 2:52 preceded a stepback jumper over Paul that had the Warriors within 48-41. It was 53-46 at the break.
"We changed in the second quarter, said Clippers coach Doc Rivers. "We lost our way offensively. We attacked the first quarter and a half, then everything changed."
Game Notes
Golden State is 15-1 over its last 16 games ... Curry had been the game's leading scorer in his last five games ... The Warriors reserves outscored LA's bench, 34-12.
