Clippers rally past Nuggets

Apr 14, 2015 - 5:48 AM Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - DeAndre Jordan posted 20 points, 21 rebounds and four blocks, and all five Clippers starters reached double figures in Los Angeles' comeback 110-103 win over the Denver Nuggets.

Blake Griffin flirted with a triple-double, posting 22 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, and J.J. Redick netted 20 in the Clippers' sixth straight win.

Chris Paul added 17 points and nine assists in the win.

Denver led for most of the game thanks to Wilson Chandler's season-high 32 points. Kenneth Faried contributed 19 points and 17 rebounds.

"Every guy who touched the floor for us did their job," said Denver interim coach Melvin Hunt. "Chandler was incredible. We played really hard."

The Clippers trailed by three at halftime and six following Randy Foye's triple on the first possession of the second half before mounting their comeback.

Redick's 3-ball capped a 14-6 run that gave LA its first lead since early in the second quarter nearly five minutes into the third. Glen Davis scored the period's final four points from the foul line, sending the Clippers into the fourth with an 83-78 advantage.

Denver flipped the script in the early stages of the fourth, opening the frame on an 18-7 run. It forced the Clippers to eight straight misses from the field during the middle stages of the quarter before three-point plays from Griffin and Jamal Crawford tied the game at 96.

Faried then made 1-of-2 from the foul line to briefly restore Denver's advantage, but an 8-0 Clippers run put the game away.

"We got stops down the stretch," said Clippers coach Doc Rivers. "They made this game very difficult."

Paul scored nine in the game's final 2:26.
