76ers add 2 executives to front office, promote key exec
May 5, 2016 - 6:43 PM PHILADELPHIA (AP) The Philadelphia 76ers have named Marc Eversley as vice president of player personnel and Ned Cohen as associate vice president.The Sixers also promoted Brandon Williams to vice president of basketball administration.
Eversley spent the last three seasons with the Washington Wizards as vice president of player personnel. He will manage the Sixers' scouting department and play an integral role in roster management and talent evaluation.
Cohen joins the Sixers after a stint as associated vice president of basketball operations with the NBA. Cohen will serve as the primary liaison for all interdepartmental planning, coordination and communication.
Williams has been a part of the Sixers front office since 2013. He was promoted to a new position which will directly oversee the areas of player development, team security and team services, while also playing an integral role in talent evaluation. He'll continue to serve as general manager of the team's NBA Development League affiliate, the Delaware 87ers.
