Lakers sign rookie C Bryant
Jul 31, 2017 - 1:48 AM The Los Angeles Lakers signed rookie center Thomas Bryant, the team announced Sunday.Terms of the deal were not announced by the team, although The Vertical reported earlier in the week that the contract was guaranteed for next season with a team option for 2018-19.
The 6-foot-11 Bryant was acquired by Los Angeles on a draft-night trade with Utah, which selected him with the 42nd overall pick in June.
He played two years at Indiana, averaging 12.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks last season with the Hoosiers.
Bryant played for the Lakers' entry in the Las Vegas summer league, averaging 5.1 points and 3.3 rebounds.
