Timberwolves unveil new jerseys, will play on Christmas

Aug 10, 2017 - 10:30 PM MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Timberwolves have a new look. After unveiling their new logo during the season, the Timberwolves introduced the first two of four new uniforms they will wear in the upcoming season. The new jerseys feature a stripe across the upper chest, just above the Wolves name. The new logo is on the shorts. The Wolves only unveiled the white and navy blue jerseys on Thursday. The final two uniforms will be unveiled at a later date, including a bright green version. The Wolves also announced that they will open the season at San Antonio on Oct. 18 and play on Christmas Day at the Los Angeles Lakers in the night cap of a five-game slate. It's the second straight season the Wolves will play on Christmas Day, one of the league's signature nights of action.
