NBA Note - Miami Heat Winslow, Justise
Sep 20, 2017 - 1:44 AM F Justise Winslow had the fourth-year option on his contract picked up by the Miami Heat, the team announced Tuesday. The Heat had until Oct. 16 to exercise that option for Winslow, who is guaranteed $3.44 million for the 2018-19 season. Had Miami elected against the move, Winslow would have become an unrestricted free agent next summer. Winslow was limited to just 18 games last season because of multiple injuries, including a shoulder ailment that required surgery. The 21-year-old Winslow was named to the NBA's All-Rookie second team in 2015-16. He has averaged 7.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 96 games since being selected by Miami with the 10th overall pick in the 2015 draft. No one has shouted yet.
