Bucks sign swingman Rush
Sep 20, 2017 - 12:14 AM The Milwaukee Bucks added a veteran presence to the perimeter by signing swingman Brandon Rush to a training camp contract on Tuesday.Rush spent last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves and averaged 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 21.9 minutes over 47 games while shooting 38.6 percent from 3-point range. The 32-year-old is a career 40.2 percent 3-point shooter over nine seasons with Indiana, Golden State, Utah and Minnesota.
Rush, who won a championship as a member of the Golden State Warriors in 2015, owns career averages of 6.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in 481 games.
The Kansas product joins a small forward/shooting guard rotation in Milwaukee that also includes Khris Middleton, Jabari Parker, Tony Snell Rashad Vaughn, James Young and Sterling Brown.
