Clippers G Rivers out after taking elbow to face

Dec 14, 2017 - 1:44 AM ORLANDO, Fla. -- Los Angeles Clippers starting guard Austin Rivers left Wednesday's game late in the second quarter and did not return after being hit in the face with an elbow from Orlando Magic forward Jonathon Simmons.

The Clippers aid he was being tested for concussion symptoms.

Rivers, who was trying to stop Simmons from finishing a layup, was called for a foul. He stayed on the ground for two minutes after the play while teammates gathered around. He was helped to his feet and walked to the locker room.
