NBA Note - Phoenix Suns Canaan, Isaiah
Dec 14, 2017 - 9:33 AM G Isaiah Canaan signed with the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. The Suns, who were granted an injury hardship exemption by the NBA, were down to three guards during a loss to the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday. Leading scorer Devin Booker (24.3 points) is sidelined with a groin strain and Brandon Knight is out for the season while recovering from knee surgery. Canaan appeared in one game for the Houston Rockets earlier this season and owns career averages of 8.4 points and 1.4 assists in five seasons with the Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers and Chicago Bulls. The Murray State product made an appearance with Phoenix's G League affiliate and scored 18 points in the NAZ Suns' 138-94 win over the Santa Cruz Warriors on Tuesday.No one has shouted yet.
