Porzingis ruled out for Anthony's return to New York

Dec 17, 2017 - 12:42 AM NEW YORK -- Kristaps Porzingis will miss Saturday's game featuring Carmelo Anthony's return to New York for the first time as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Porzingis, who complained of left knee soreness in New York's 111-104 win at Brooklyn on Thursday, was ruled out after meeting with medical staff after working out prior to Saturday's matchup.

The Knicks third-year power forward, who is leading the team in scoring at 25.5 points per game, was questionable coming into the day and is listed as day-to-day.
