NBA: Foul calls missed on Durant, LeBron

Dec 27, 2017 - 1:10 AM The NBA's officiating crew might be getting coal in their stockings next Christmas.

The league announced in its Last Two Minute Report on Tuesday that it botched three foul calls on Kevin Durant and one on LeBron James in the Christmas Day showdown and NBA Finals rematch between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.

The NBA said Durant fouled James twice late in the fourth quarter of a close game, noting that he affected James' "speed, quickness, balance (and) rhythm."

"He fouled me twice," James told reporters following the Cavaliers' 99-92 loss in Golden State. "But, whatever. What are you going to do about it?"

Of the no-calls, Durant said "He's too big. He's too big. He's too big for that. He's too big. That ain't no foul."

The league said James should have been whistled for a foul on Warriors forward Draymond Green with 33 seconds remaining.
