Warriors vs. Mavericks Game 1: Top NBA Prop Odds & Picks for Wednesday, May 18 (2022)
May 18, 2022 - 1:14 PMThe NBA Playoffs are down to just four teams. We’ve reached the Conference Finals in the East and West.
Last night, the Heat took care of business, at home, defeating the Celtics 118-107.
Tonight, the Golden State Warriors will look to take care of business on their home floor against the Dallas Mavericks. When Luka Doncic goes off, the Mavericks win. Will Doncic perform at a high level away from home? Here are three props to consider for tonight’s Western Conference Finals Game 1 between the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors.
Mavericks vs. Warriors: Jordan Poole Over 2.5 Three-pointers
Jordan Poole won’t get the recognition that Steph Curry and Klay Thompson get. But Poole has been shooting three-point shots with heavy volume. In the series against the Grizzlies, Poole took 6.3 shots from the deep per game and ended the final game of the series against the Grizzlies with 11 three-point shot attempts.
It’s odd that he only made two of those 11 shots in that game. In the first game of the series, Poole added 10 three-point shots and nailed five of them. There are games where he’s heavily involved and others where he’s not as much. In the previous two games, Poole only played 44 minutes combined. Tonight, he’ll get over 30 minutes of action and get a nice volume of shots up.
So take that plus money and hope for three threes from Poole. He’s gone off plenty of times this season and can do it again tonight.
Bet: Jordan Poole Over 2.5 Three-pointers (+150 at FanDuel)
Mavericks vs. Warriors: Draymond Green Over 8.5 Rebounds
They really don’t make them like Draymond Green anymore. Green is all about winning. He’s always going to do the little things to help his team be successful. Green averaged 8.7 rebounds per game against the Grizzlies in the last series and now has an over 8.5 prop sitting at +104.
Green earned at least 10 rebounds in three of six games and the only reason he didn’t earn more in other games was due to massive leads and being thrown out of a game due to a hard foul. If Green gets his normal minutes, he’s going to crash the glass and earn double digits in rebounds.
Bet: Draymond Green Over 8.5 Rebounds (+104 at FanDuel)
Mavericks vs. Warriors:: Spencer Dinwiddie Over 11.5 Points
When the Dallas Mavericks needed him the most, Spencer Dinwiddie stepped up in a big way. Dinwiddie went 5-for-7 from downtown in his last two games to help Luka Doncic and the Mavericks push past the Phoenix Suns.
Dinwiddie added 45 points in his last two games and has all the confidence in the world right now. His minutes aren’t always very high but when he’s in, he’s an impact player. If he gets around 25 minutes, he should see about 10 shots in this game.
With how efficient he’s been, getting 12 points shouldn’t be an issue.
Bet: Spencer Dinwiddie Over 11.5 Points (-114 at FanDuel)
