Top 3 NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (12/2)

Following a night in which we had just one game (Dallas 125, Detroit 131), the NBA roars back tonight with its normal 10+ game slate. With great games from top to bottom, let’s take a closer look at the three games I’m dialed in on as we look to bounce back.

1. Wizards -3 (-110)

We were on the right side, at the wrong number, on Wednesday, as the Wizards lost by six in Brooklyn and +7.5’s were widely available earlier in the day. The loss was their fourth in five games, as they’ve faced a difficult schedule to close out November with two road games in Miami, one in Boston, and one in Brooklyn.

Things should get easier tonight, however, as they head to Charlotte to take on a team also reeling. Losers of four of their past six, the Hornets continue to struggle without LaMelo Ball in the lineup. Look for the Wizards to get back on track tonight as they pick up their second win vs. Charlotte in two weeks.

2. Raptors +1.5 (-110)

This one has already moved from its opener of +2.5 overnight and I’m in complete agreement. A casual observer might see the Nets’ three straight wins as a sign of the ship turning, but a closer look shows wins over three bottom-half teams in Portland, Orlando, and Washington; all of which came at home.

Now the Raptors come to town looking to avenge a November 23rd loss in Toronto. Having won two of three since then, the Raptors rely on a defense giving up just 109.3 points per game. With an edge there as well as on the boards, I’ll take the Raptors to steal this one.

3. Bulls +7.5 (-110)

You may get a better number if you wait here, but I like the Bulls and the points tonight on the road at Golden State. Despite their poor record, the Bulls have been competitive almost every night for the past month. Prior to a 132-113 loss in Phoenix on Wednesday against a Suns team that couldn’t miss, the Bulls had won three of four, with their sole loss coming in overtime at OKC.

For the Warriors, an early November slump was followed up with three straight wins to close out November before losing to the Mavericks earlier this week. While they are the better team, I think we see the Bulls start to play with some desperation as they look to keep their head above water as the halfway point of the season quickly approaches.
