Jalen Green OVER 21.5 Points (-120)
The Rockets will be in good shape to grab the top pick for next year’s draft. They are in a familiar spot with the worst winning percentage in the league and could get that for the third year in a row. They will host the surging Kings on Monday, and the previous two matchups have featured a ton of scoring.
Green put up stellar numbers in the previous two games, averaging 26.5 points. Sacramento has been poor against perimeter shooting. They’re 26th in opponent’s mid-range shooting efficiency and 20th in three-point efficiency. Those are the areas where Green excels.
Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 48.5 Points/Rebounds (-115)
The Bucks are currently on a stellar run, winning seven straight. They had started to dip in the Eastern Conference but are beginning to climb back and just a game out of the top seed.
Giannis has been playing lights out recently. He’s led the team in points and rebounds in each of the seven wins. That has him starting to move up in the MVP odds.
The Bucks will take on a Portland team that’s tough defensively but will not have their full lineup. Jusuf Nurkic and Justise Winslow are sidelined. That will leave a severe gap in the Blazers’ frontcourt defense. This would normally be a very high prop to take, but with Giannis’ recent performances and the Blazers’ injuries, he’ll light up the stat sheet.
DeMar DeRozan OVER 26.5 Points (-106)
The Bulls have a talented roster, but they haven’t been able to put it all together as they sit under .500 for the season. They are currently on a good run, winning six of nine. They are also clinging to a play-in spot in the Eastern Conference.
On Monday, the Bulls will host the Spurs, who are beginning a nine-game road trip and have lost an abysmal 16 of their previous 18. The big reason for San Antonio’s struggles is their worst-rated defense.
DeRozan is leading the Bulls in scoring. The Spurs allow the most points to shooting guards. DeRozan had 33 in his last matchup with the Spurs and should get close to that number again.
