Top 3 NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (2/6)

Feb 6, 2023 - 4:30 PM

The Wizards blew a 20+ point lead on Friday night and kept us from a perfect card, as we still finished 2-1 ATS on Friday to close out the week. Following a busy weekend, we now focus on Monday’s card and three more spots we’re dialed into.

Let’s take a closer look.

Cavaliers vs. Wizards

Just as things started to look up for the Wiz, back-to-back losses while blowing 20-point leads in both has them trending back down. The injury bug has also returned, as Kyle Kuzma is out of tonight’s game and Bradley Beal is questionable to miss his second straight.

For the Cavaliers, the league’s #1 defensive team that’s allowing just 106.8 points per game, they come into this one having won three of their past four, scoring 120 points or more in each of them. They do come in on the second of a back-to-back, having beat Indiana on the road 122-103 last night. They also might be getting back Caris LeVert, who missed yesterday’s game with a hamstring injury.

Cavs roll in this one in DC.

Bet: Cavaliers -2.5 (-110)

Clippers vs. Nets

Storming back to outscore the Wizards 70-50 in the second half, the Brooklyn Nets rallied behind the loss of Kyrie Irving to win 125-123 on Saturday night at home. As we often see when stars depart, the rest of the team elevates their play, and what should be a down Nets team has now won three of their past four.

They remain home tonight, welcoming to town a Clippers team that has won three of five since hitting the road on January 28th. In what will be the last of their six-game road trip, the Clippers are coming off a marathon of games on Saturday night, winning 134-128 on Saturday at MSG.

Despite being shorthanded, I think we see another quality effort from this Nets team as they manage to keep this one within the number.

Bet: Nets +7.5 (-110)

Thunder vs. Warriors

As I’m sure it did for many, this line gave me a double take, but I’m still biting on this Warriors team.

In their 119-113 win vs. Dallas on Saturday, the Warriors lost Steph Curry for an undisclosed amount of time, but I think still have the firepower to win this one with relative ease. Prior to losing two straight to start the month, the Warriors had won four of their previous five, which included a 128-120 win at OKC on January 30th, covering as 5-point favorites.

Bet: Warriors -4 (-110)
