NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (3/20)
Mar 20, 2023 - 1:15 PMWe got back on track Friday in the NBA, going 2-1 ATS and pulling one game away from 100 ATS wins on the season. While there is much to be proud of, there’s also much work left to be done as we dial back in on three spots I’m on tonight in the NBA.
YTD Record: 99-79-5 ATS

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. New York Knicks
Once the darlings of the Western Conference, the T-Wolves have found themselves in a sinking ship, as a slide to start the year now has them tied for the ninth and final spot in the play-in tournament. Having lost three straight, they now head to New York to take on a Knicks team that has won three straight, but I think come into this one a little overvalued.
I’m backing Minnesota here in a desperate spot.
Bet: T-Wolves +6 (-110)
Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets
On a three-game slide in which they’ve allowed 127 points or more in all three games, the Warriors continue to be hampered by an injury report that isn’t getting any shorter. Heading into the day, the Warriors are still dealing with injuries to Kelvin Looney, Andre Iguodala, Gary Payton III, and Andrew Wiggins. Despite the league’s second-best offense averaging 118.3 points per game, their defense is in free fall, now allowing an average of 118.1 per night.
Though their just playing for pride, the Rockets have been playing some of their best basketball of the season as of late, winning three of their past four with wins over the Pelicans and Celtics during that stretch. Now, they welcome to town a Warriors team feeling sorry for itself, and I think will be able to stay within this inflated number.
Bet: Rockets +11 (-110)
Sacramento Kings vs. Utah Jazz
Winners of three straight and eight of their last 10, this Kings team continues to show they are not just an aberration. In what will be their fourth and final game of a four-game road trip, the Kings have swept it thus far, zig-zagging the Midwest and East coast, last beating the Wizards 132-118 in DC on Saturday night.
Now in second place in the West and just four games behind the Nuggets, the Kings now head to Utah to take on a Jazz team clinging to life in the postseason discussion. As of tonight, they are tied in a three-way lock for the final spot in the play-in tournament.
Behind the league’s best offense averaging 121.1 points per game, I like for the Kings to roll in this one before heading home.
Bet: Jazz -5 (-110)
