Orlando Magic vs. New York Knicks

The New York Knicks are trending upward since the All-Star break. The team is playing well together, and offensively they are improving. The biggest reason for the improvement is Jalen Brunson is finally playing how they hoped for when they signed him this offseason. 

Brunson averages 23.8 points per game and shoots 41% from the three-point range. That number means Brunson can score points in bunches. He only needs the opportunity to shoot the basketball. Tonight the Knicks play the Magic. That means Brunson will get plenty of opportunities.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Both of these teams are vying for a playoff spot. That means they will be playing hard on both sides of the ball. The Cleveland Cavaliers are the No. 1 defensive team, meaning scoring opportunities for the Brooklyn Nets will be limited tonight. 

Mikal Bridges has taken over as the leading scorer for the Brooklyn Nets since Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant left. Bridges struggled to score the last time these two teams played. He went nine of 21 for 18 points. Tonight could be a repeat of the last time these two teams played. That will limit Bridges’ shot quality.
