Oregon outmaneuvers Southern Cal 54-44
Feb 26, 2010 - 6:01 AM LOS ANGELES(AP) -- Tajuan Porter scored 16 points to lead Oregon past Southern California 54-44 on Thursday night.The Ducks (13-14, 5-10 Pac-10) were trailing 44-42 with a little more than six minutes to go but went on a 12-0 run to finish the game.
LeKendric Longmire added 13 points for the Ducks, who snapped a five-game losing streak.
Alex Stepheson scored 10 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Trojans (16-11, 8-7) and Marcus Johnson added 12 points.
Oregon outscored USC 16-4 to start the second half, erasing the Trojans' nine-point halftime lead. The Ducks then took their first lead of the game when Longmire made two free throws putting them ahead 37-36 with about 12 minutes remaining.
